 Kuige Kuige, a tower in worship of God of Literature, is generally called Kuixing Tower. In the era of Sung and Ming, literary and academic atmosphere had been prevailing in Kinmen with numerous scholars passing civil service examinations to qualify for official posts. During the Dao-guang reign of the Qing dynasty, Lin Fei-zhang made donations and built Kuixing Tower. It serves usually as a place for literary men and scholars to worship their God and also as a symbol for the everlasting academic atmosphere in Kinmen.
